Alte Brennerei in Pullach im Isartal

The 3-course menu picked up last weekend (corona-related) was really delicious. The baby stone butt was cooked to the point. Since we had ordered two different starters and they were plentiful, we even enjoyed a 4-course menu with salad and soup. We are very happy about the to go menu.

Unfortunately I have to say that I am no longer satisfied at all. The "crowning" conclusion was last week's duck leg, tough, mixed, plain, not edible. Friends brought them to me, and they also threw the club in the trash. At Aldi there is better quality. The price-performance ratio is unfortunately no longer right here. The service is mediocre. I also liked to come for the oysters and snails, but there are much better French restaurants in Munich. I'm not coming anymore, unfortunately.

We finally managed to visit the old distillery. Outstanding French food and a very friendly and personable host. We will come back in any case.

Very good food & drinks, food = top class! You can sit outside and relax on the attractive terrace. Very friendly chef who also comes to greet his guests.

We always like to come back to this pretty restaurant. The dishes have all been excellent so far. The wines matched the course perfectly. In summer you can also sit wonderfully in the beautiful garden. The service is always very polite. The next visit is already planned.

Fantastic! A nice three-course menu, two dishes per course to choose from. The fish cooked to perfection, the lamb tenderly fried under a herb crust to the point. Nice service, harmonious guest room. We will be back.

The food is the absolute pleasure. It was unbelievably tasty. The service was very courteous and helpful. I can only recommend it. You have to try that.

The Alte Brennerei is always worth a visit! A really excellent cuisine prepared with excellent ingredients and a lot of love. The staff is also very friendly, competent and attentive, without being intrusive. And you can really recommend the wine list. Absolutely reserve, as the eatery is quite small, but the more comfortable.

This was one of the rare times my wife (French) and I managed to find time and a babysitter, and we really enjoyed our evening. The deco is warm and cosy, wood all around, beautiful table dressing. There was a sommelier so we decided to let him pick a wine for each course, the French sommelier was very nice and could tell you the full story of each and every bottle if you wanted. Then, the service was friendly yet not intrusive, exactly the way we like it. The food... what should I say... the beef from NewZealand was a dream, I will never understand vegans. My wife took a healthy fresh fish tartare, mixed with avocado, mango and a nice dressing she was totally thrilled... As a desert I can recommend the poire au vin and the fondant au chocolat, simply great. The Chef Thierry came to see his guests which we found a charming attention. All in all my wife told me the food and the ambiance reminded her of her country, which I guess is a good sign. The only missing thing would be a chimney (especially in winter : ). Will come back to check out your Single Malts Thierry!

Excellent food in a very cozy and rather rustic modern atmosphere. The condition is very friendly, plump and attentive. The aperitif selection is very fine and exceptional. The wines are very good and exquisite. The dessert was really very good! All in all a good address for a cozy but fine dinner with fine cuisine.
